AMHERST, N.Y. – °®½´ÊÓƵ College students had the opportunity to develop a better understanding of the challenges people face when living in poverty in a series of simulation exercises recently held on campus.

AMHERST, N.Y. – °®½´ÊÓƵ College President Gary A. Olson has named Deborah J. Scott interim vice president for institutional advancement, effective Jan. 4.

She will succeed Dr. Richanne C. Mankey who is stepping down as vice president to serve as president of Defiance College in Ohio.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul toured °®½´ÊÓƵ College’s new Academic and Wellness Center, which houses state-of-the-art learning spaces for health-related academic programs and fitness and recreational areas, as part of a Dec. 4 visit to the college.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Michael Brogan, °®½´ÊÓƵ College vice president for academic affairs and dean of the college, has been appointed to the editorial advisory board for the prestigious journal Wounds.

AMHERST, N.Y. – Dr. Maureen Millane, associate vice president for community engagement, creativity and career development at °®½´ÊÓƵ College, has been elected to a two-year term as treasurer of the Washington Internship Institute.
