Merit Scholarships

Students who apply to °®½´ÊÓƵ will be considered for one of five scholarship awards: Presidents, Founders, Deans, Distinguished Faculty or Alumni scholarship.

Competitive Scholarships

°®½´ÊÓƵ's competitive scholarships are for students who interview for and are awarded Trustee Scholarships or Endowed scholarships, or for students who show extraordinary talent in athletics or their artwork. These scholarships are given out to select individuals through the admissions office, the Athletics department, or the Art department.

  • Residential Grants: up to $2,000
  • Veterans Leadership Grant - $2,000
  • °®½´ÊÓƵ Grants: dependent on need of applicant
  • Patrick P. Lee Foundation Scholarship: 10,000 to five (5) MSW Program students
  • BOCES Scholarship: $2,000 a year (renewable for four years)
  • HRSA Scholarship: $2,000 a year (renewable for four years)
  • Border State Scholarship: $1,000 a year (renewable for four years)
  • Sibling Scholarship: $3,000 a year (renewable for incoming sibling for four years)
  • PT Summer Institute Scholarship: $1,500 for one year (one time)
  • Chinese Club of Western New York $2,000 (renewable for four years)
  • Buffalo Jewish Federation $2,000 (renewable for four years)

Graduate Scholarship Opportunities

30% Graduate Tuition Scholarship

Students enrolled in one of the following graduate programs; Applied Behavior Analysis, Leadership and Innovation, Public Health, MBA, Social Work and Special Education are eligible for a thirty (30) percent tuition scholarship. The scholarship reduces the current per credit hour tuition by 30%. Students must have an undergraduate gpa of 2.7 to be eligible for this scholarship.

AmeriCorps Matching Grant

AmeriCorps volunteers accrue educational benefits (Segal Education Awards) that may be used for graduate study. °®½´ÊÓƵ will match this award by providing AmeriCorps alumni an additional matching grant for all graduate programs excluding Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant. Proof of Segal Education Award eligibility can be provided through a copy of the award certificate or a letter from the applicant's AmeriCorps program manager.
