Any challenge to better yourself is something I strive to chase, even if it scares me. From the outside, the Honors Program may look like just a bunch of added work, but there are so many hidden opportunities within the responsibilities of the Honors Program. Not only does it look good for future employers and scholarship applications, but working with professors in contracts allows you to get to know your professors better, which gives you highly educated, responsible people to write recommendations for you, and improves your overall learning experience. Also, there is so much opportunity for personal growth within the contracts: improving your knowledge, connections, researching and time management skills, etc.
